Friends,

This Monday marked the first day that candidates could meet with our City Clerk to officially begin the process of running for City Council by “pulling papers” from City Hall.

I was honored to take that step — and excited to formally begin this campaign to serve our Del Mar community. I’m grateful to everyone who has encouraged me to run, shared their hopes and concerns, and reminded me why thoughtful local leadership matters.

I’m also grateful for the past 25 years in this beautiful village that helped us raise our four sons. I'm here to roll up my sleeves and work with you to ensure our community remains vibrant and resilient for future generations.

This campaign will be focused on listening, bringing people together, and finding practical solutions to the challenges and opportunities ahead. I believe Del Mar is strongest when we respect different perspectives, work together, and build on what makes our community special.

I’ll be outside Little Joy Coffee Bar and Board & Brew from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM this Saturday, July 18th. I invite you to stop by, sign my nomination papers, and say hello. I’d love the opportunity to hear what matters most to you.

Warm regards,
